album cover
the best thing about my work, and this is a stretch, is probably the background picture. its the most simple and clean thing on there. the weakest part would most likely be the tesla car on the top left, i couldnt get the clean cut image that i wanted so thats my main reason why its hanging off the page. improving on this flaw i can practice my cutting skills to get a more crisp image and an ideal outcome. i used most tools already learned so far for this project which includes filters, layers, rotation and opacity. reaching the goals for this assignment wasnt no easy thing. i struggled to nail down most of the objectives while maintaining a semi presentable photo but lots of trial and error allowed me to conquer these obstacles. the easiest part of this assignment was the brainstorming. i already knew what i liked so making the list of what id include was the quickest part.
digital painting - baby yoda
i feel like the best thing about my work is how realistic it looks like baby yoda compared to the original picture. id probably say the weakest thing about my work is the hand on the left side. i think it got pretty blurred out and isnt really transparent as to what it is. to improve this, i could probably redo the hand with a smaller brush to add more details in. to create this image i used layers, paint brush, blend tool, and the undo function a lot. i was able to meet the goals of this project by dividing my project into small sections. the easiest part of my project was definitely the blending part of the photo. the most difficult was getting the sizing for yoda and the background picture to match up, often times baby yoda was too big or the picture just didnt want to let me edit it.if i could do this assignment again and differently id want to choose a more clear picture of yoda and one with more details with a background already with it that way i can work on it more closely while adding more detail. by far, this is my best work yet. id rate this 10/10 just because its a recognizable picture and didnt turn out too bad and it does look realistic.

Andy Warhol project
The best thing about my work is that it actually came out good compared to my other works. About the weakest thing about my work could be considered the color schemes i chose. they don't really match as much as they could. Improving on my weakest element for this image, i could try to stick to a certain color scheme so its more visually appetizing. Tools i used in Photoshop to create this image was import, crop, paint brush, image selections, lock layer, duplicate layer, and the select tool. Me being able to meet the objectives of this project was mainly due to the cheat sheet posted on the blog spot. I followed that closely and was able to complete my project smoothly. The most easy thing during this project was definitely the painting aspect. All i did was change the size of the brush to make it bigger than the canvas and it only took one click to paint what i needed to paint. The most difficult thing about my project was for sure the sizing needed to achieve what i needed to get done. If i could do this assignment again, i would choose a different photo, different colors and change how many duplications i might include in order to add more or less to the photo. I would rate my effort on this project a 10/10 without a doubt. i feel this way because i reached a point where i was really satisfied with what i created and i didn't stall on it.

Sugar Skull
10/16/19
Some designs i was contemplating on including on my skull would be lots of mickey mouse designs and the colors blue and white. i would include these because it represents what my older brother who passed as a baby enjoyed as i have come to learn. Along with those, i would probably include some purple as that is my mother's favorite color and it would show the connection she had with my brother when he was alive. So instead of honoring just the dead, i'm honoring the connections they left behind. Then lastly, i was thinking about including a cross to symbolize my family's faith although i don't personally celebrate it.

The best thing about my artwork was that i actually was able to make something with the little to no knowledge i had of this program. The weakest thing about my artwork is definitely the lack of color i feel as if i couldve made it stand out more had i incorporated more color. in the future i can definitely use more tools to make a more interesting design or piece. The program i used was abobe illustartor. The easiest part of this project was these questions. everything to me was difficult during this project. i would redo the entire thing. id give myself a 4/10, i slacked a lot and didnt ask for help when i should've

if i was to redo this project id definitely choose other elements to create my smiley face. also id find a better background and not too many bright colors
i would rate my effort on this project a 10/10. although it isn't as good as it could've been i did try hard to create something out of nothing.

crop and straighten example
What i did in Photoshop to correct this image was first crop the unwanted parts in the photo like the family on the side. Then i straightened the photo since it was taken at an angle allowing the photos main center of view be the ocean line and the wave.
